Just into our shop is this rare Woodwind Co. Dick Stable facing mouthpiece! This is a special facing that the Woodwind Co did in collaboration with saxophonist Dick Stable. It is equivalent to Otto Link's Joe Allard facing or Larry Teal facing. The alto version measures in at .062" which is around a 4-4*. This mouthpiece is in overall good shape but has a few dings and scratches on the tip and rails. A mouthpiece refacer could clean this up and get it into proper player order very easily. The Woodwind Co mouthpieces were made from some of the best hard rubber of the time and serve as great blanks for modern refacing.
