The DURGA V does everything the DURGA IV did, just better. Indeed, this was our intention, as the DURGA has become a classic in the saxophone world, and we didn’t want to change the base sound signature. So, we refined it by adding a fullness and core to the sound. The secret to the DURGA V is the result of in-depth research and development, culminating in updates to the unique DURGA baffle, and the addition of the Medium-Stadium-Chamber™. This chamber is a brand new concept, allowing the mouthpiece to get all the benefits of our True Large Chamber™, but with the extra core of a smaller chamber at the same time.
