Just into our shop is this rare bird of a mouthpiece, a silver plated Francois Louis T282. This is a powerful mouthpiece that gets the focused direct sound that of Bob Berg. He played on a similar style solid silver mouthpiece also made by Francois Louis. It measures a .110" or 8 on our Theo Wanne gauge.
This mouthpiece features straight side walls and a bullet styled baffle that rolls over into a small round chamber sort of like a soloist. This combined with thin side walls and a thin tip rail create a powerful mouthpiece that has great response with a full body.
