Saxophone fans, check out this amazing 137xxx Selmer Mark VI tenor that just came in! This horn arrived in needing some love, and we have spared no expense in giving it a full extensive professional level overhaul. We have meticulously straightened the body tube back to its correct shape, corrected a few neck dents, removed all body and bow dents, re-soldered any necessary posts or guard feet, fitted the keys and, lastly, fitted it with all extremely high quality pads, corks, and felts. The Original neck was never pulled down and maintains its original shape which is of course crucial to the intonation and sound. The 137xxx serial number dates this horn back to 1966, when it was hand-assembled in Paris, France.

Its lacquer has been stripped down to bare brass, yet the original American engraving remains crisp and well-defined. We were thrilled to restore this exceptional instrument and bring it back to top playing condition. Mark VI tenors from this era are known for their incredible free-blowing nature and expressive sound, this one is no exception! At this price it will not be available for long!
