Wow saxophone fans, check out this beautiful SBA alto that just walked into the shop! Just listen to the tone on this one! This 53xxx dates back to early 1953 where it was hand made in Paris France. The body tube has its original gorgeous dark cellulose lacquer, and the neck is very slightly lighter in lacquer color which leads us to believe the neck could have been possibly relacquered. The bottom bow rooster is free from any denting and the original neck matching serial number neck has no pull down or signs of pull down. The pads are a mix of new and used and it just received a full comb through by our shop to ensure that it is playing and sealing perfectly. This SBA alto checks all the boxes and is ready for its next owner!
