144xxx 1967 Selmer Mark VI Tenor Lacquer Stripped American Engraved

$7,995.00
Availability: In stock (1)

Just into our shop is this 1967 Mark VI tenor! This horn came to us needing nothing, as it was just overhauled by Aaron Bernard. This tenor is in great cosmetic shape with no major denting in areas like the bottom bow and no pull down or signs of pull down on the neck. Despite it being produced in the Selmer history timeline when they were no longer stamping the matching serial number on the neck, this is the original neck to the horn. The original lacquer has been partially stripped off to bare brass on the majority of the horn except for the neck. The American engraving on this one is still very present and crisp. This tenor is really quite the player with an incredible robust sound and fast snappy key action. After a quick comb through to ensure it is sealing perfectly, this horn is completely ready to be gigged on and loved by its next owner. Hurry because this killer tenor will not be available for long!
